About The Glowe Co

Meet Kim — Skin Therapist. Founder. The Reason This Brand Exists.

Kim is a qualified skin therapist with 18 years of clinical experience working with women in her Noosa salon. She created The Glowe Co in response to something she kept witnessing, year after year, in the treatment room: women doing everything right — the right products, the right routine, the right effort — and still not seeing the results their skin used to deliver.

The reason, almost every time, was the same. Their skin had changed. Perimenopause and menopause were reshaping the biology underneath, and most of the products they were using had never been designed for that shift.

So Kim designed something that was.

18 Years in the Treatment Room

Before The Glowe Co existed, Kim spent 18 years working face-to-face with women whose skin was changing — seeing the same patterns, the same frustrations, and the same gaps in what mainstream skincare offered.

She watched women transition through perimenopause and notice their skin become drier, more reactive, duller, and less responsive to the products that had always worked. She watched them spend more money, add more steps, and still feel like their skin was working against them.

She also watched their skin transform when the right things were put into it. When the barrier was addressed first. When products actually matched the biology of what was happening. When someone finally gave them a routine built for the skin they had now — not the skin they had at 30.

That clinical observation is the foundation of every formula in The Glowe Co range. Not trends. Not marketing. 18 years of watching what perimenopausal skin actually needs, and what happens when it gets it.

Why Perimenopause Changes Everything — Including Your Skin

When oestrogen declines during perimenopause and menopause, it affects almost every function your skin relies on:

  • Your skin's ability to produce and retain moisture drops significantly
  • Natural lipid production decreases, weakening the barrier that keeps hydration in
  • Collagen and elastin production slows, changing texture and firmness
  • Cell turnover reduces, leading to dullness and an uneven, flat appearance
  • Sensitivity and reactivity increase, making skin less tolerant of products it used to handle easily

These are not signs of aging. They are signs of a specific hormonal shift — one that most skincare is not formulated to address, and one that Kim spent 18 years understanding at the clinical level before she formulated a single product.

Most brands respond to this skin with words like "anti-aging" or "mature skin" — vague language that describes a cosmetic concern without naming what's actually happening. The Glowe Co names it directly. Because women going through perimenopause know exactly what is happening to their bodies. Their skincare should too.

The Philosophy Behind the Formulas

Every product in The Glowe Co range is built on the same principle: barrier first.

A compromised barrier is the underlying cause of almost every skin complaint Kim sees in perimenopausal women — dryness that won't resolve, sensitivity that came from nowhere, products that used to work and suddenly don't, hydration that sits on the surface instead of absorbing. Fix the barrier, and almost everything else follows.

The Glowe Co is also built on a second principle: less is more. The women Kim works with are not looking for a 10-step routine. They are looking for fewer, better steps — ones that actually do what perimenopausal skin needs, without the overwhelm of a regime designed for a different skin type.

Small batch. Australian-made. Every ingredient earning its place.

The Formulas

Kim formulated every product in the range herself — including four months of documented personal testing on The Signature Elixir before a single bottle reached a customer. The formulas draw on 18 years of clinical observation, her professional knowledge of skin biology, and an honest assessment of what the market was — and wasn't — offering for this skin.

They are not the most complicated formulas available. They are the most considered ones for this specific customer and this specific skin shift. That distinction matters.

Professionally Endorsed

"As a cosmetic doctor, I recommend The Glowe Co to my patients who want real results without the complexity. The formulations are genuinely impressive — clean, effective, and exactly what perimenopausal and ageing skin needs."

Based in Noosa, Queensland

The Glowe Co is based in Noosa, Queensland. Kim continues to work with clients in her Noosa salon, where The Glowe Co formulas are used and recommended in professional treatments. The salon context is not incidental — it is where the brand was born, and where it continues to be tested on real skin, in real conditions, every day.

A Note From Kim

"I built this brand because I kept seeing the same gap. Women in their 40s and 50s, investing in their skin, doing everything they were supposed to do — and still not getting results. Not because they were doing it wrong. Because most skincare wasn't made for the skin they now had.

Perimenopause changes everything. It changed my clients' skin, and it's changed my own. I know what it feels like to have skin that used to respond, and then suddenly doesn't. I also know what it takes to turn that around — because I've watched it happen hundreds of times in my treatment room, and I've experienced it myself.

The Glowe Co exists to close the gap. To give women going through this transition skincare that was actually made for them — not retrofitted from a formula designed for different skin, with different needs, at a different stage of life.

If your skin has changed and nothing seems to be working anymore — you're not imagining it. And this was made for you."
